2. Support for SAP upgrade project from SAP R/3 4.7 to ECC 6.0

Clarify : Stone Apple team worked under the guidance of the Clients Project Management and was engaged in

1. Rollout and provide second level support within Asia Pacific
2. Analyze business requirements, propose business process improvements and design technical solutions for the Clarify systems.
3. solutions for the Clarify system or other connected systems: Configure, unit test and document the Clarify system in compliance with divisional, regional
4. Global IT standards: Coordinate cross application activities with other team members and Management of the system life cycle of Clarify in an organized, timely and professional manner

The client is a world leading spectacle lens manufacturer based in Paris with manufacturing operations in Asia Pacific, Europe and US. A shared Service Oracle Applications Support Centre was set up in Paris to support global operations in their use of the Oracle Applications software.

Project: Outsourced Global ERP support In 2003, Stone Apple approached the client in a bid to outsource their ERP Support and setup a shared services support centre based in Thailand in partnership with Top-5 implementation partner.

Project Scope:

1. Functional Support of multiple instances of Oracle Applications (from 10.7 to 11i)
2. Technical Support of multiple instances of Oracle Applications including interfaces and subsystems
3. Enhancement requests
4. Support level is broken down into:
   1. 1st level helpdesk
   2. 2nd/3rd level support
   3. Team supports 2 shifts (7am-4pm and 2pm-11pm)
   4. 24/7 offsite standby support on rotational shifts

Modules:

1. Financials : AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
2. Distributions : OM, PO, INV
3. Discrete Manufacturing : BOM, MRP
4. Customized shopfloor system
5. Versions : 10.7, 11.0.3, 11i

The client is the largest manufacturer and marketer of multifunction digital color/monochrome devices for offices. Stone Apple conducted business process review to re-engineer processes within the planning function. Stone Apple team designed, developed and implemented planning systems for:

1. 2 locations in the US
2. 1 location in Europe
3. 1 location in Japan
4. 2 locations in China

Modules implemented: Oracle MRP, Purchasing and integration with other client product.  The timeline given was 6 months with intensive development work and project was completed on time and on budget. The client was benefited by reduced user workload, reduced inventory, and visibility of vendor/customer inventory/PO/SO positions.

Stone Apple has Preferred Vendor Relationship Status with a leading bank in Singapore which offers a wide spectrum of personal and corporate banking services, credit cards, loans, insurance, and investments services. Stone Apple’s 40 member team is working on Peoplesoft, ETL, Datawarehousing technologies for the client.
